My brother had asthma and as a child he went for reflexology (and that was a long time ago). My mother said it did help. I've had clients with asthma and they've reported that their symptoms have lessened after their reflexology sessions. Is there a cure? I never say never, but I can't say that there is a "cure" for any illness (it's not legal for me to make a claim like that). Reflexology helps the body to help and maintain itself, and every little bit counts. Some folks have reported dramatic changes through reflexology and others have said that it helps with some or all of their symptoms. Since the body systems you mentioned above have specific reflex points or areas on the feet and hands, I say go for it. First, remember to check with a doctor to rule out any illness. Use the reflexology foot map to see where you can begin to work to support your own health. If these are issues that you've had for a while, it may take a while (a few weeks with regular practice should show some improvement - so it doesn't take forever), but it is so worth the effort.
